Driver Comfort and Convenience
EV PRIORITY MODE
Harness EV power
You can run on electricity alone by using the EV Priority switch. Not only is it cheaper, it’ll keep your conscience green.
Warm the cabin without turning on the engine
The electric pre-heater uses the electric water pump to circulate hot water and warm the cabin even if the engine isn’t running, such as during EV driving. So you can run it early in the morning or late at night without bothering the neighbours. When the weather turns really cold, the electric heater can be used to supplement heat generated by the engine.
Outlander PHEV Verve Towing Capacity
The Outlander PHEV Verve has a 1500kg braked towing limit and a 750kg unbraked limit. That’s the weight of a medium caravan.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Verve Engine
The Outlander PHEV Verve has a 2.4L 16-valve inline 4 cylinder engine. It has automatic transmission and an Atkinson-cycle with a long expansion stroke, which makes it extremely efficient and economical.
PERMANENT 4WD WITH SUPER ALL-WHEEL CONTROL (S-AWC)
More sporty features
Originally invented for our rally cars, S-AWC automatically distributes torque and traction to each wheel. The result is a 4WD system that offers better stability and performance across even the most demanding driving conditions.
16” ALLOY WHEELS
They look good and more
The Outlander PHEV Verve is available with 16-inch alloy wheels. Alloys not only look sporty, the hub is wider than conventional wheels, so there's less rubber between you and the road. The result is more precise steering and better grip in both the dry and wet.
Packed with intelligent technology
The PHEV Verve is packed with intelligent features to make driving easy, like reverse parking sensors, heated front seats and regenerative braking paddles.
Charge the battery as you drive
Kinetic energy is generated naturally as the vehicle brakes. To help you keep your battery charge topped up, the Outlander PHEV makes use of this energy. In other words, the electric motor is using the vehicle's momentum to recover energy that would be otherwise lost to the brake discs as heat. A paddle selector switch on the steering wheel allows you to control the amount of energy you regenerate. Choose from six levels depending on driving conditions. The other benefit of this innovative technology is it's more eco-friendly: you'll be relying on the petrol engine less often.
Designed to stand out
Don’t get the Outlander PHEV Verve and expect to blend in. With its powerful grille, sleek headlamps and aerodynamic shape, you’ll turn heads wherever you go.
Hands full? No problem
Open your Outlander PHEV Verve just by standing next to the vehicle. As long as you've got the keys on your person, the sensor will unlock the Outlander PHEV for you. So if you’re carrying equipment, or you've got your hands full of shopping, you'll find getting in a whole lot easier.
A clearer view when the weather fails
Across all models in the Outlander PHEV series, you’ll find LED daytime running lamps. The Outlander Verve also has fog lamps front and rear. So even in dense fog, you can still see the road ahead, and motorists behind you know you’re there.
Protection for everyone in the car
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Verve is equipped with a 7-airbag system. The system includes front airbags, front side airbags, curtain airbags and even a driver’s knee airbag, so everyone on board is protected.
