Crewe’s Mitsubishi dealership is gearing up to provide local drivers with one of the most capable, full-size SUVs around with the imminent launch of the all-new Shogun Sport.
Arriving at the dealership’s Marshfield Bank Employment Park showroom in April, the seven-seat Shogun Sport blends the legendary off-road ability of the manufacturer’s four-wheel drive vehicles with high levels of equipment and advanced safety and driver assistance systems.
The exciting new model sits between the Outlander and the Shogun in the Mitsubishi range. Customers will be able to choose from two versions of the luxurious new SUV – the Shogun Sport 3 and Shogun Sport 4.
Powering both versions is a 181hp 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine, which is matched to an all-new, eight-speed automatic transmission and Mitsubishi Motors’ advanced Super Select II all-wheel drive system, which allows the driver to switch seamlessly between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive on all terrains.
Priced from £37,465, the entry-level Shogun Sport 3 includes such features as leather upholstery; electrically-adjustable front seats; power folding mirrors; LED headlamps, tail lamps and DRLs; dual-zone climate control; reversing camera with rear parking sensors; keyless entry with push-button start; privacy glass and automatic headlamps and wipers.
Bluetooth connectivity with music streaming is also standard, as is the Mitsubishi Motors Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) system with Apple CarPlay* and Android Auto* compatibility.
Priced from £39,465 OTR, the Shogun Sport 4 adds heated front seats; the Mitsubishi Power Sound System with additional tweeters and a 510W amplifier; headlamp washers and Mitsubishi Motors’ most advanced safety and driver assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), which uses radars in the front grille to judge whether there is risk of a collision with the vehicle in front, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), a 360˚ view camera and the Ultrasonic Mis-Acceleration Mitigation System (UMS) which utilises front parking sensors to halt any accidental sudden acceleration when any obstacles are detected nearby.
Sean Pattinson, at Grenson Mitsubishi, said: “With the arrival of the Shogun Sport, which follows our successful launch of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross earlier this year, the Mitsubishi range has never been stronger.
“It’s a fantastic choice for customers who require outstanding off-road performance, but who don’t want to compromise on practicality, luxury or driving enjoyment on normal roads and motorways. We’ve already had a great deal of interest in the Shogun Sport and we’d be delighted to speak to anyone who might be considering upgrading their vehicle and would like to book a slot for an early test drive.”
To register their interest in the new Mitsubishi Shogun Sport, and for further information, drivers can visit Grenson Mitsubishi at Marshfield Bank Employment Park, Middlewich Rd, Crewe or call 01270 507490
